Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Management Research is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethics. As such, we take a firm stance against plagiarism and consider it a serious offense.

Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or words as one's own, without proper citation, credit, or acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism. The Journal of Management Research adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and considers plagiarism a breach of publication ethics.

To ensure the originality and authenticity of submissions, we employ a rigorous double-blind peer review process. All manuscripts are thoroughly reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field of management research, and we use plagiarism detection software to identify any instances of plagiarism.

In the event of suspected plagiarism, the Journal of Management Research will take the following steps:

  • Investigate the matter thoroughly, following the guidelines set forth by COPE.
  • Contact the author(s) to request an explanation and provide evidence of the alleged plagiarism.
  • Take appropriate action, which may include, but is not limited to, rejection of the manuscript, retraction of the published article, and notification of the author's institution.

The Journal of Management Research is published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license, which allows for the free distribution and use of published articles, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly cited. By submitting a manuscript to our journal, authors agree to abide by our plagiarism policy and acknowledge that their work is original and free from plagiarism.
