Archiving Policy

The Journal of Management Research is committed to preserving the scholarly record and ensuring the long-term accessibility of its published content. To achieve this, we adhere to the following archiving policies:

  • Permanent Archiving: All published articles are archived permanently in the journal's online repository, ensuring that they remain accessible to the public for the foreseeable future.
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) Partnership: We participate in the LOCKSS program, which provides a secure and decentralized archiving system for electronic scholarly journals. This partnership ensures that our content is preserved and available even in the event of a catastrophic failure or loss of our primary archives.
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) Archiving: In addition to LOCKSS, we also participate in the CLOCKSS archive, which provides a dark archive of our content. This means that our articles are preserved in a secure, off-site repository, and will be made available if our primary archives are compromised or become unavailable.
  • Portico Archiving: The Journal of Management Research also archives its content with Portico, a leading digital preservation service. Portico provides a secure and reliable way to preserve our content, ensuring that it remains accessible to future generations of researchers.

By implementing these archiving policies, we aim to provide a high level of assurance that our published content will remain accessible and preserved for the long term, in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the standards of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. All articles published in the Journal of Management Research are licensed under a CC-BY license, which allows for the free reuse and distribution of our content, provided that the original authors and source are credited.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and transparency, and our archiving policies reflect this commitment. By preserving the scholarly record and ensuring the long-term accessibility of our content, we aim to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of management research and to provide a valuable resource for researchers and scholars worldwide.
